The end of the year always seems kind of heavy. People have rushed so fast, all the way up to Christmas, that the week after is partly a relief and partly a let down. It is so nice to not have all the pressures that the past month brought with it. But you get that momentum going and when there is no more momentum, it is hard to know what to do with yourself. The orders that come in are such a suprise. It feels like there couldn't possibly be another soul out there that didn't place an order that was due between Thanksgiving and the "big day." You don't want to get used to not pushing through each day for fear that there won't be any work to start off the new year. Or worse yet, what if the work comes in and you've become complacent so it doesn't get the attention it needs to get done on time.
Now I've shared my deepest fears ... Here is my New Year's Wish to all:
"Here's to the end of a good year and hopes for a GREAT YEAR to come in 2011!!!"
